Time+Space Cadaqués achieved a coveted nomination in the Condé Nast Traveller Innovation & Design Awards 2010.  Shortlisted by a panel of judges that included acclaimed chef Heston Blumenthal; Sir Nicholas Serota, Director of TATE; Brent Hoberman, founder of Lastminute.com, and Loyd Grosman, TV presenter and food lover, Time+Space was nominated alongside such luminaries as Anish Kapoor, Zaha Hadid, Foster Partners and Paul Smith.

Starring hot new Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson (of Twighlight fame), the film chronicles Dalí´s relationship with poet Federico Garcia Lorca and filmmaker Luis Bunuel, and takes its title from Dali’s 1927-8 painting Cenicitas.

It has been described as being like the Spanish surrealist himself, “representing a vivid and flowing imagination engulfing the staid and predictable”. The museum will also provide new ways to display Dali’s work, including a theatre where his films can be shown, and is expected to be completed as early as 2011.
